Paper Abstract:      Internet and other digital sources play an increasing role in obtaining information in the learning process. However, precise data on the usage of those sources are not known as they constantly change following increasing widespread use of electronic sources. The paper presents the results of a survey conducted among the students of the first and second degree studies at the Warsaw School of Economics and the Sabanci University in Istanbul. The purpose of this study was to examine the extent to which students actually use the Internet for obtaining information, as well as the proportion between the use of digital and traditional printed sources of information.
